Royal Enfield’s Wildest Scrambler Yet? Meet the Fuel Fury 650 Beast!

Fuel Motorcycles, a creative custom garage in Barcelona, has built an exclusive scrambler named the Fuel Fury 650 – a machine that echoes the golden days of desert racing while paying homage to legendary racer Eddie Mulder.

A Salute to a Desert Racing Champion

In a special collaboration, Royal Enfield partnered with Fuel Motorcycles to create a bike that nods to both its racing past and its passion for customization. The outcome? A one-of-a-kind scrambler based on the new Bear 650, infused with design cues that celebrate Eddie Mulder’s 1960 victory at the Big Bear Run.

With a red and white dual-tone finish, the motorcycle showcases vintage-inspired touches like bold graphics, a tribute badge reading “In Gut We Trust,” and Mulder’s classic race number on its panels.

Custom Styling with Rugged Character

True to its desert racing DNA, the Fuel Fury 650 has been outfitted with robust components for all-terrain prowess:

  • High-mounted mudguards
  • Twin LED lights for off-road visibility
  • Handmade flat seat in water-resistant Alcantara
  • Upswept exhaust system for ground clearance
  • 21-inch front wheel wrapped in Dakar-ready Mitas tyres

The design is a visual throwback to 1960s off-road bikes, but its build quality is tailored for today’s rough trails.

What sets this scrambler apart is not just its tough look but its rally-ready functionality. The cockpit includes:

  • A rally-style digital display with GPS, odometer, and rev counter
  • Integrated navigation tools for long-distance rides
  • A Motogadget interface that lets riders access ride data on the go
  • Extra add-ons like knuckle guards, foam grips, and skid plate for durability

Same Engine, Different Purpose

Underneath its rugged shell lies Royal Enfield’s proven 649cc twin-cylinder engine, which powers the Bear 650. The performance figures remain untouched:

  • 47 horsepower @ 7250 rpm
  • 56.5 Nm of torque @ 5150 rpm

However, to meet the demands of rough terrain, the suspension has been entirely reworked. It now features:

  • Enduro-spec front forks
  • Fully adjustable rear suspension, built for absorbing big hits and trail shocks
